Here’s what you get with a piano tuning service by Tom Turner RPT.
First, I always preform a thorough inspection of your piano looking for signs of mice and other possible problems. Upon inspection I will tune the piano to the standard pitch of A-440.
I can often determine the date of manufacture and possibly give you some brief history for the brand of piano you have. If you have questions or concerns about the parts, or the pianos working condition, just ask me. I’ll give you a personalized and professional recommendation about how to proceed.
Pitch Raises:
If you haven’t had your piano tuned in a few years, it may require pitch raising or lowering. Each piano must be evaluated on an individual basis to determine its ability to raise or lower the pitch to A440.
Tuning Method:
I began my career tuning pianos strictly by ear setting the A440 pitch with a tuning fork. After several years of diligent research and seeing the advancement in technology I incorporated state-of-the art electronics to my tuning methods giving my customers piano the best of both worlds.
